Can I sell the house before the divorce is final?
A house can often be sold before a Georgia divorce is finalized if both spouses agree to the sale and its terms, or if a court order authorizes it while the case is pending. Selling early can simplify dividing the proceeds later, but the decision should go through your family law attorney first.
